How about some cabin porn this morning?  Here is one from the local area, although it's under a bit of snow right now.

Area-241 is the mountain playground of snowboarding pioneer Mike Basich on Donner Pass near Truckee, California.
Totaling 40 acres and situated at 7,100 feet, the property is only accessible by snow mobile in winter and features a stone hot tub, a snow cat, and a tow rope in addition to the solar-powered cabin built from 175 tons of granite moved by hand over a 5-year period. For more info go here.

At the other end of the environmental scale is this little place, out in the Chihuahuan desert of Texas, and here experiencing a rare snow fall.  Too many snakes and scorpions in that neighborhood for my tastes.
