Broadside.


My dad used to tell me that in WWII, while in the navy, that the concussion from the big battleship guns would cause pencils to jump of a table six inches, and that's on another boat sailing nearby.

  1. I can say from personal experience, and tinnitus to prove it, the 16's make a great WHUUUMMMMPPP. The smaller guns hurt more. Our 5"-38's once blew my helmet and headphones off and left this great ringing in my ears. Other Gunners had told me that the worst were the 3"-50's, a loud sharp crack that would split an ear drum. Ah yes, good days for sure. Summer camp with big ass guns.
