Cabin Porn

Cabin in Moab, Utah, with a ladder access cave balcony!  Pretty nice.

A bit more here.

  1. Nice in the winter. Scorching hot in the summer, which may be why they're using the cave. Whoever built that structure is not a close student of history. The pioneers built homes constructed of adobe because those 2 foot thick adobe walls moderate the effects of both heat and cold and don't burn down.

  2. Yep, it looks like it was built out of scrap lumber - which isn't a bad thing. It just isn't as good as adobe, as you say. They probably only use it in the winter.
