Curry will probably see the disinvitation as a good thing. Win/win.
The next question is, will the rest of the team go, or will they split for political reasons.
And the question after that is, will this overt politicization of basketball hurt the sport like it's doing to Football?
Probably it at least has the potential too, especially if there is a team split on the issue, and a significant number boycott the White House visit. If that occurs, a lot will depend on the actions of the NBA management. Professional football is an object lesson on what not to do, but have the leaders of the NBA been paying attention?
