And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

C-SPAN dropped a poll last night asking who people trust more, GEOTUS or COMEY. After 116,000 votes they canceled the poll. Wonder why?
I know that was a humorous reply, but... Yeah, absolutely. It's a sample-bias issue. Apart from the occasional recon into enemy territory, I don't go to CNN or C-Span. Meaning that the majority of people taking that poll are likely ideologically aligned (or at best neutral) with CNN's position because otherwise they wouldn't have been there in the first place.
A political poll on CNN is like going to a vegan convention and asking "Is eating meat genocidal cruelty?" You're not going to get the results that you'd get from a proper sampling of the entire US.
They could have kept that poll rolling and it would have ended up embarrassing CNN/CSPAN.
